Although the design is getting a little old, the Viking 33 still has to rate as one of the better looking boats on the water. It has sleek lines and a graceful bow. It may be just a touch narrower than the boats that were built in the 1980s, but it still has the appearance of a contemporary yacht. Like the Ontario 32, the Viking was also designed by C&C and built by Ontario Yachts. Unlike the Ontario 32, this boat was designed with racing in mind. It has a very deep keel and a ballast to displacement ratio of over 50%. This boat was built in the 1970's, so most will come equipped with an Atomic 4 gasoline inboard engine. Note that in the late 1970s, this boat was given a slightly taller mast and marketed as the Viking 34.
