The same is true for Sparkman and Stephens designed Hughes 38, and it is probably an excellent choice for anyone who wants to put close to 40 feet of boat in the water for under $50,000. Note that both settee covert to double berths, and v-berth is a truly large sleeping area. The downside is that Hughes 38s are getting little old, often come with a gasoline engine, and are a somewhat dated design.
